June is a personal library application that allows you to save, organize, and enrich your multimedia collection — including web links, books, videos, music, documents, and screenshots — and optionally share curated recommendations with family and close contacts you personally invite. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have with respect to your data.
June is operated by Vitruvity, Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Delaware (“Vitruvity,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). References to “you” or “your” mean you as a user of the June application.
For all privacy-related inquiries: legal@june.vitruvity.com
We decouple your identity from your requests. When you ask June to enrich a piece of content using artificial intelligence, that request is processed and stored independently of who you are. Vitruvity pays for the AI enrichment, stores the result as shared enriched knowledge, and returns it to you — without constructing a behavioral profile of you in the process. We do not track your activity outside the application or infer your interests from your behavior across third-party services.
To create and maintain a June account, we collect your email address and the authentication credentials necessary to sign you in securely. This information is used solely for account operation and authentication.
June stores the content you explicitly choose to save: web links, documents, screenshots, images, videos, audio recordings, books, and associated metadata such as titles, descriptions, tags, and personal notes. This content belongs to you.
Certain features may allow you to optionally record sensitive personal details such as your home address or date of birth. If you choose to store such information, the following applies without exception:
June requests only the device permissions necessary to provide its stated features:
When you request AI-powered enrichment on a saved item — such as a summary, contextual metadata, or related information — June transmits the content of that item to a third-party AI provider for processing. The resulting enrichment is stored separately as enriched knowledge and is not associated with your identity or account. Vitruvity owns this enrichment output because Vitruvity pays for it; the enrichment may be returned to other users who save the same underlying content. No personally identifiable information about you is included in enrichment requests.
We collect minimal technical data required to operate the service, including crash reports, basic performance metrics, and error logs. We do not construct behavioral profiles, monitor your activity outside of the application, or sell usage data to any third party.
We use the information described above for the following purposes only:
We do not use your personal information to serve you advertisements. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not infer your interests or preferences through behavioral tracking.
Every item you save in June is subject to individual visibility controls that you configure. You determine, on a per-item basis, who may access each piece of content:
Changes to these controls take effect immediately. You may revoke access to any item at any time.
June includes an optional feature through which you may discover recommendations — for contractors, local service providers, music teachers, and similar — surfaced through people in your trusted network. The following rules govern this feature:
When you approve a recommendation to be shared beyond your immediate circle, only the recommendation itself — the item and any note you have written about it — is surfaced to extended network members. Your identity is not disclosed to anyone outside your direct circle. Recipients are informed only that someone within their network has recommended the item. No name, profile, or identifying link is revealed.
Participation in this feature requires your explicit opt-in approval for each recommendation you choose to share beyond your immediate circle. This sharing is never automatic.
We implement the following technical safeguards to protect your information:
No security system is infallible. In the event of a data breach materially affecting your personal information, we will notify you promptly as required by applicable law.
Vitruvity engages the following categories of third-party providers solely to operate the service:
We do not share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, marketing platforms, or analytics vendors.
Your content and account data are retained for the duration your account remains active. You may delete individual items at any time using the in-application controls. To request permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data, contact us at legal@june.vitruvity.com. We will complete such requests within thirty (30) days.
Anonymized, aggregated AI enrichment data that cannot be linked to any individual user may be retained to improve the service.
June is designed for personal and family use and is not directed at any particular age group. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors in a manner inconsistent with applicable law. If you have reason to believe a minor’s information has been submitted to June without appropriate authorization, please notify us at legal@june.vitruvity.com.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict the processing of, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, submit a request to legal@june.vitruvity.com. We will respond within thirty (30) days of receipt.
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. When amendments are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. For material changes, we will provide notice within the application. Continued use of June following the posting of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
